V76 Vintage German Tube Microphone Pre Amplifier

Highly desired Microphone Pre Amp from the 60’s.
Pleasant /Warm /Big Sound! Without a doubt, the V76
is one of the True Kings of mic pre-amplification magic.
And has been that for over 40 years!

Configuration of Telefunken/ Siemens Tubes: EF804S (2x) EF804 (1x) E83F (1x), an audio transformer which, even with modern wizardry, cannot be reproduced these days, based on its special combination of various metals. Beware: When you sing through this amp, the house will come down.
Many hit records being made today carry the sound of the V76.
V76 Amps have their own PSU (220V). For use in the USA, Japan, etc.
a small external power Converter is recommended (ca. $25.00)

* 4 units available – all in excellent sonic performance but various states of cosmetic conditions which is reflected in the individual prices:

V76/120 S#1377 - Cut off filter as in V76/80 except f. 120Hz instead of 80Hz
Up to 76dB (!) of gain.
The entire front panel’s coating/ finish has been sanded off by one of the previous owners. The funky bunker look! This could give speculation that the next owner may apply a creative paint job to give this front panel a new & unique colorful (maybe psychedelic) facade. Price reduced to $995.00

V76/80 S#1758 Cut off Filters at 3000/ 300/80Hz or flat response. Up to 76dB of gain. Front panel shows cosmetically ‘good honest use’ - therefore price reduced to $1150.00

V76/80 S# 3662 & S#1018 Same model as above but cosmetically 1 to 2 steps up on the Richter Scale. Price per unit $1325.00 or $2500.00 as pair.
Each one of the above units comes with new 12 Pin Tuchel connector & schematics. Individual computerized printouts of performance (frequency response…) by request (surcharge).
We encourage users to make their own ‘Pigtails’ for XLR in/out but can arrange for pigtails (surcharge ca. $100.00 each )
